La Raffinerie
~ Website ~ Blog ~ Etsy ~

La Raffinerie's new Spring 2011 collection was inspired by ancient tribal jewelry & travels. The collection called NOMAD is as rich in colors as it is in texture. For NOMAD, designer Julia Vallelunga continued to use vintage findings as well as new materials like silk sari ribbon and fringe. Why NOMAD? La Raffinerie’s designer loves to travel and likes to think she’s a bit of a nomad herself! She gave items in her collection Italian names in memory of her Italian heritage.

Julia Vallelunga founded La Raffinerie in 2007. Frustrated that her day job wasn’t creative enough, Julia Vallelunga decided to launch her own business. Three years later, La Raffinerie jewelery is on sale in 12 boutiques across Canada! The designer is also the founder of À la Mode Montréal, a popular fashion blog in Quebec.
